I am certified as a health coach by Health Coach Institute and as a life coach by Coach Training Alliance and am the founder of Dare to Dream. I am also the health/life coach on staff at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC, where I teach self-empowerment & stress relief classes, facilitate a weekly discussion circle for seniors and work with individuals and small groups in various capacities.
I am also the director of Memories of G.O.L.D., a singing group that brings the joy of music to people in nursing homes, hospice, hospitals and homeless shelters.
With a B.S. Ed. from the University of Virginia, I taught writing at Gulliver Academy Middle School from 1988 - 1998.
I then became a private tutor, a college essay coach and a homeschooling mom and teacher.
I am also a former binge eater and sugar addict who went on a challenging and beautiful journey of healing my relationship with food, my body and myself. This journey ultimately led me to my passion for helping others to fulfill their dreams and find freedom from emotional eating, sugar addiction and negative body image.
I feel honored and privileged to support you in becoming the best version of your truest self.
